Who was that girl?
Seriously?? Who was that girl knocking back the Grey Goose at the bar? The one wearing tight jeans and high heels and drinking like she has no cares in the world?
I think it is the same girl who spent Saturday night out with her friends…drinking and dancing like she was 21 (Happy Birthday baby-I hope you had a good time!). Maybe even the same one that spent a lazy Sunday in San Francisco-brunch with her friend (Citizen Cake Rocks!) and a day of shopping at Union Square. I thought I saw her walking down Post Street to Sephora….Chanel sunglasses on her head and shiny patent tote on her arm.
She looked so happy…so carefree….she almost looked like me.

Truly, Madly, Deeply….
Baby Girl,
I don’t know what I would without you….you are without a doubt the reason for my being. The last few days have been challenging to say the least. There is something about coming to terms with loss and pain that literally sucks the life out of me. Before you came into my life, I would have sunk into some self destructive mode and found endless ways to hurt myself. But now? I can’t…..I simply can’t anymore.
You make me smile and you remind me that even in the worst situations…something good can always be found. You are living proof of that. Your faith in me keeps me going when all I really want to do is quit.
I will be forever grateful that you came in to my life and taught me how to truly love someone-deeply, madly, unconditionally.
